How offers are ranked
By price, and only by price
The default order is the lowest delivered total. You can also sort by product price, price per ml, bottle size, discount or freshness. Real bottles are listed before testers, miniatures and gift sets, which are clearly labelled.
Commission never changes the order
Scentswap may receive a commission from selected retailers. This does not affect the price you pay or the ranking of offers. If a placement is ever sponsored, it will be labelled as sponsored.
Exact matches, nothing guessed
An offer is shown only when it matches the perfume, the concentration (Eau de Toilette is never mixed with Eau de Parfum) and the bottle size. Flankers such as Elixir or Intense are separate perfumes. Doubtful matches are reviewed by people before they appear.
Shipping and freshness
Shipping to your country is included where the retailer's cost is known. When it is not, the page says “Calculated at checkout” and does not count it as free. Every offer shows when it was last checked, and old prices are flagged.
