Buyer Protection

Buyer Protection is a delayed-payout flow, not a marketed legal escrow product. Payment is collected through Stripe in test mode during development.

Default commercial model: €1.00 to submit a listing for review; seller commission 4%; buyer protection 3% + €0.49. All fees are configurable in admin settings.

Payout is intended after the buyer confirms the bottle is as described, or after they mark the package received and the check period ends without a dispute. That check period starts on delivery confirmation — not when the parcel is still in the post.
